Questions Arise About What Community Partners Recieve at the 2015 PHIPA Connections Summit...

Help spread the word, and you can help your members/organizations with the constantly changing and complex business landscape they are faced with. Qualified Community Partners receive:

  • 1 Complimentary Exhibit Space (use of space requires one, paid "Conference Only" registration to the conference)
  • Exposure via logo placement, web link
  • Discount off of currently published registration fees to pass on to your members
  • Social Media attention via the conferences social media accounts

All we ask is that you let your members know about the event and the potential discount via the channels of communication you already use to communicate with your members.

We believe in building communities, communities that have a say in their education and professional development. Verney Conference Management therefore will continue to employ its community-based approach to the development of the conference agenda, the same approach that made the previous PHIPA Summits some of the best learning events of their kind.

For more information on how to become a Community Partner please contact Dustin Rivers at 613.226.8317 or send us an email via the "Contact Us" form on this website.

2015 PHIPA Connections Summit seeks Community Partners

Not-for-profit organizations, whose members might be subject to Ontario's PHIPA Legislation are the perfect fit

Some Community Partners at 2015 PHIPA Connections Summit to offer Professional Development Credits

Are you a member based, not-for-profit organization, whose members might be subject to Ontario's PHIPA Legislation and are looking for ways to help? Are you also looking for ways to increase the value of membership for your members?

You can do both by becoming a Community Partner of the 2015 PHIPA Connections Conference: Access, Privacy, Security, and Records Management, while also increasing your organization's exposure!

Increasingly around the globe we are seeing “privacy” becoming monetized and being used as a distinguishing marketing tool. In the conference world programs and agendas are becoming grossly diluted by vendor pitches, while the cost to attend is going up, meaning the value participants receive is going down!

That’s why this conference aims to provide, at a very reasonable cost, the most useful and practical information possible for organizations regulated by the Personal Health Information Protection Act in Ontario. It is intended to help such organizations understand the Connections between access to health information, privacy, information security, and records management in order to more effectively manage their privacy risks up-front, and respond more effectively if things go wrong.

You can be assured that by getting involved you are aligning your organization with an event that is produced with integrity and offers participants unparalleled value. The 2015 PHIPA Connections Summit: Access, Privacy, Security & Records Management, is part of a series of regionally based conferences, all based on similar themes. They are the only multi-disciplinary, cross-jurisdictional, and community-based developed events for the greater public service across Canada.

UPDATE: This conference qualifies for Continuing Professional Development credits towards your PACC Professional Certification, for more information goto www.pacc-ccap.ca

The Privacy & Access Council of Canada, a long standing Community Partner of the PHIPA Connections Summit is once again providing value to it's members by qualifying the 2015 PHIPA Connections Summit for Professional Development Credits that go towards a person's PACC Professional Certification.

The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, under the leadership of Dr.Ann Cavoukian, was one of the original hosts of the PHIPA Summit. A firm believer in education, current Commissioner, Brian Beamish and his team continue to be a significant contributor to the Advisory Committee and Community Partner of the 2015 PHIPA Connections Conference.
